52nd OSEAL Forum 2013

The OSEAL forum is an annual event held at different countries by the Lions Club.  It's an event where Lion Club members come together for fellowship and for our leaders to share insights on the Lions Club itself.  This year we are very lucky that it was held in Singapore as it was fourteen years ago the last time it was held here.
Many of us learned a great deal more about the Lions movement and had a great time during the forum.

We also had the pleasure of His Excellency, Dr Tony Tan, President of Singapore to grace the opening ceremony. Although the OSEAL forum is over, information can still be found at http://www.52oseal2013.org/ .

Unfortunately, during the forum, Typhoon Haiyan has hit the Phillipines very badly and our Phillipines brothers and sisters needed help.  The Lions Club International and our members at the forum responded appropriately and swiftly.  At the forum itself, donations came in the hundred of thousands.  It was a humbling and powerful experience.

Relief efforts by the Lions Club International are still ongoing and more information can be found at the LCIF website.
